Thanks to everyone who donated items for NEGU's Joy Jar drive. We had over 100 donations from our portable alone! That's awesome! I'm glad everyone came together to donate items for such a good cause.
Weekly Reminders:
- Tuesday is the Austin Toros Field Trip. We will be leaving school around 9:30 and returning around 1:45/2:00. If you are a chaperone, I would suggest meeting here at school and carpooling with other 4th grade parents to minimize your parking fee.
- Wednesday is the Lifeskill Recess where students who have demonstrated Perseverance (Lexi), Organization (Allison), Integrity (Caren), and Problem Solving (Keegan) will be recognized.
- Wednesday is the Responsibility Recess. Students that do not have any missing work will have an extra recess. Those with missing work will be given this time to finish their work.
- Thursday is our Holiday Party at 1:45. If you signed up to send a donation, please don't forget that. Parents are welcome to attend the party as well. Just make sure you sign in at the front office before coming to our room.
- Although this is the last week of school for the semester (and calendar year), we still hvae a lot to accomplish. Please note that we have a couple assessments on Wednesday to wind up the year.
- School resumes on January 7th.
- Report Cards for this grading period will not be sent home until January 14th. Explorer Excellence will be held on January 15th at 8:45am.
- Lastly, enjoy your holiday break with your families!!!!!
