Reminders:
- Science Fair is QUICKLY approaching. I will be having some after school science fair sessions for any child in our class that needs help. We will not be able to conduct the actual experiment but your child will have the opportunity to use a computer for research and also for typing up and putting together their display board. Please fill out the form if you would like your child to attend. Tutoring sessions are open to any of my students. These sessions will be flexible and student-directed for each of their needs. I will be a facilitator for their experiments/investigations/demonstrations. Also, there is plenty of information available on the links on the top left of my blog. Please review those, as needed.
- Tutoring will be held Thursday the 10th, Tuesday the 15th, Thursday the 17th, Tuesday the 22nd, and Thursday the 24th from 3:00-4:00 each day. The only thing I ask is that you pick up your child from my portable promptly at 4:00. If your child is unable to stay until 4:00, they may come for any portion of the time. This is a flexible work time.
- Report Cards will be sent home on Monday, January 14th.
- Explorer Excellence will be held Tuesday, January 15th in the cafeteria at 8:45. We hope to see you there to support all the wonderful work your children have been doing!
- Sokikom (through Edmodo) now has e-mail parent reports. I will be sending those every Friday for you and your child to review their behavior for the week. These reports will look slightly different than the ones from the beginning of the year because it is a different program.
