First Day of 4th Grade!

We are off to a great start! Today we did some community-building and got to know our new friends. We talked about the importance of cooperation and having a learning community where everyone feels comfortable. I even saw some of those life skills in action today helping some of our new WBE friends find their way and learn some expectations.

We will continue to learn and follow our classroom expectations as well as the Wells Branch expectations. This week we will get into the following areas:

Science - Safety and Equipment
Reading - how to choose appropriate books
Writing - Bio Poems, memory projects
Math - problem solving
Social Studies - life and social skills

REMINDERS:
- All forms need to be returned. This includes the handbook forms as well as the pink, purple, yellow, and white form from me. Please return by Thursday!!!
- If there are any concerns or questions you have about your child or our classroom, please call and let me know. Communication is very important in making this a successful year for your child.
