It's almost Thanksgiving...WOW!

This is our last full week before Thanksgiving...I can't believe the holiday season is already here. It seems like just yesterday I was getting ready for the first day of school. Last week we had our first experience with our kindergarten reading buddies. Everyone in our class seemed to really enjoy reading to and listening to the kindergartners and can't wait to go back. We will be meeting with them every other week (usually on Fridays). Besides giving our 4th graders time to read aloud, it is also a great opportunity to develop a relationship with the younger kids and be good role models. I'm very proud of how they worked with our new little friends. :)
