I hope everyone had an enjoyable Thanksgiving and extended weekend! I definitely enjoyed the extra time with my family and mini-vacation I got to enjoy. We have 3 weeks now until Winter Break and we will be very busy up until the break.

Reminders:

- Progress Reports will be going home Tuesday. All grades will be listed. If a grade is below 70 or missing, it SHOULD be correct/made-up and turned in.

- This week the Book Fair is going on. We will have a preview on Monday and then students will be allowed to go during recess to make purchases throughout the week.

- Picture Retakes are on Thursday. If you did not like the original pictures you ordered, you need to bring them back in order to have retakes done.

- Next Wednesday, December 7th we will have an Early Release at 12:45.

- Next Thursday, December 8th we will have Schlotzsky's Night at La Frontera. Teachers will be there to greet and help you out while WBE benefits from a portion of the profits. We look forward to seeing you there!

- We will be having a holiday party on Friday, December 16th beginning at 1:30. If you would like to help coordinate this party, please let me know. I would be more than happy for a few parents to arrange this. I have ideas of parties I've done in past years and wouldn't mind sending those your way.

- Thanks to those parents who have donated snacks. We received a lot last week and should be set for a while. I will let you know again when we are in need of snack.

What we're learning:

Homework:

Daily - Practice math facts for at least 10 minutes. Read for at least 20 minutes.

Monday - Unit 8 Prep A

Tuesday - vocabulary/spelling

Wednesday - Unit 8 Prep B

Thursday - summary/spelling (Spelling Test on Friday)
