I cannot believe that the last week of school is here! We've had such a great year and I've seen so much growth (academically, physically, and emotionally). I know it's time for your children to go to 5th grade when they get to my height or taller. ;) It has been an absolte pleasure to teach all of your children. I know they will continue to grow and do great things as they get older. I will always remember them, as they get older, I love visits from former students!
What's going on this week...
- Monday we are headed out to Stunt Ranch to try the trip again. Please make sure your child wears their class shirt on Monday, as well as sunscreen, tennis shoes, and sunscreen. They also need to bring water and a sack lunch (if they aren't buying one from the cafeteria).
- Tuesday we will be visiting with current 5th graders for a Question and Answer session. If you would like to help your child think of any questions they can ask the 5th graders about what to expect next year, you're more than welcome to. We will be generating questions in class too!
- Wednesday is the End of the Year Awards Ceremony at 9:00am. Students will be given awards for the 4th Nine Weeks and all year. All parents/family members are invited!
- Wednesday we will have a 4th grade yearbook signing. If your child has bought a yearbook, be sure they bring it to school on Thursday so they can get autographs from all of their friends.
- Friday is our class breakfast party from 8:30-9:30. Please do not forget to send your donations to school. If you cannot remember what you signed up for, please ask!
- Friday is the last day of school!!!! Have a great summer! I hope you all have lots of fun in the school and have some great experiences with your families. I will post one more blog with some free and fun summer ideas to keep you busy this summer!
