- Monday is the first day of the Second Nine Weeks. Remember that it's never too early to work towards your goals and earning the grades you want! Report cards for the first Nine Weeks will be sent home on November 6th.
- Breakfast Club is in full swing in Ms. Losli's room! Students can head over to Ms. Losli's room beginning at 7:20 or get help on HW or something from class. She is well-versed in all 4th grade materials and is ready to help kids in need. She will be focusing on elapsed time for kids that still need help with that. Any child who attends will receive a coupon for 1 Dojo Point for Effort they will be able to turn into their teacher.
- Wednesday is Halloween, however students are NOT allowed to wear their costumes to school on that day or bring treats for classmates. Halloween is not one of our allowed class party days.
- Friday is the last day of our Canned Food Drive benefiting families of soldiers overseas. Please donate a can or two or even more to this worthy cause! If our class donates the most cans, we win a pizza party! The best part about this Canned Food Drive is that it is being coordinated and run by a 4th grader! I hope she encourages all of our students to give back to others in need!
- November 6th at 8:45 will be our 1st Explorer Excellence ceremony of the year. This will be a time when students will celebrate the hard work they've put in over the first nine weeks. Please join your child to celebrate their accomplishments as well.
- I've added a new slide show to my blog that includes all of the math charts that we have up in our classroom. Feel free to look over these so you know our strategies for solving problems and have your students look over them when they are completing their HW for reminders. I will try to keep it as up to date as possbile!
