- There is a Multiplication Bee on April 11th in the classroom and April 12th as a grade level. Make sure your child is practicing EVERY DAY. Just like last time, we will have a grade level bee for the classroom winners and also a random drawing, so everyone needs to be prepared!
- There is a PTA Meeting Tuesday, April 9th at 6:30. There will be a musical performance by Kindergarten. I'm sure that will be cute!
- The Spring Festival is from 2-6 on Saturday. You may purchase tickets in advance at school. (Purchasing in advance is a little bit of a discount.) If you are new to WBE, this is a fun event for your entire family. If you live close, it's best to walk to school. There will be all sorts of games, food for purchase, and a silent auction. (An outing for a child and their friend with me is even in the silent auction!!!)
- We will be having math homework every night for the next two weeks. Please be sure your child is completing it! The pages we have assigned are a review of everything your child will be responsible for on STAAR. This is in addition to their normal Tuesday/Thursday reading homework!
- If you would like to help me decorate for STAAR Motivational Week, please let me know. I will be decorating (i.e., hanging stuff up) on Friday the 12th after school. I'd appreciate any extra hands.
