It's Red Ribbon Week!

It's going to be a VERY busy week...there are lots of things go on, for 4th grade and the whole school. Our class t-shirt are in and I will pass them out on a day that every member of our class is present. I would like to remind you that the shirt should be worn on important class days, reminders will sent out for those days.

Red Ribbon Week Days:
Monday - "Give drugs the boot!" - Wear your boots.
Tuesday - "Help WBE sock it to drugs!" - Wear crazy socks.
Wednesday - "Proud to be drug free!" - Wear red.
Thursday - "Don't let drugs mix you up!" - Wear mismatched clothes.
Friday - "Hats off to a drug-free life!" - Wear hats.

Reminders:
- Book Orders DUE TUESDAY!
- Tuesday is library day...don't forget your books!
- Life Skills Lunch is on Wednesday recognizing Responsibility, Caring, Effort, Cooperation.
- Author, Phil Bildner will be visiting WBE this week and meeting with the 4th graders for a writing workshop. This is his second year to visit our 4th graders and we look forward to a great lesson on Thursday!
- Thursday we will also be attending an assembly on Fire Safety given by the Pflugerville Fire Department!
- Report Cards go home on Friday. They must be returned with their envelopes and signed on Monday.
- Ms. Leining will be out Friday and Monday. If you have any questions or immediate concerns, please contact the front office.
- Explorer Excellence Awards will be held on Tuesday, November 2nd at 8:40 in the cafeteria.
- TAG Information meeting will be held on Tuesday, November 2nd at 6:00 in the library for any parents who have questions about the TAG program and nominations.

What we're learning:
Math - division
Science - electrical energy
Social Studies - explorers of Texas (this is the last week)
Writing - personal narratives
Reading - poetry

Homework:
Daily - Practice multiplication facts. Read for 20 minutes.
Monday - enVisions Multiplication Review
Tuesday - Short and Long i
Wednesday - Meanings of Division
Thursday - Dolley Madison
