I hope you all enjoyed your 3-day weekend and took a little time to remember the reason for the holiday. We will be doing an activity on Tuesday about Martin Luther King Jr. that I really enjoy every year!
Reminders:
- Wells Branch will be having their 3rd Annual McTeacher's Night at McDonald's on Wells Branch Parkway and Mopac on Thursday from 5-7. A portion of the proceeds will be given back to WBE to help your children. Teachers will be on hand to socialize, take your order, and even make your fries. It's always a fun night!
- The class will be doing a lesson needing mini-marshmallows and toothpicks next week. Any donations would be greatly appreciated!
- Snack has been running low lately. We've had one family supplying most of our daily snack. If you would like to donate, please just send an easy-to-share snack and we will use it as needed. Good snacks include bulk cereal (and it's cheap), goldfish, box of crackers, or anything else with low amounts of sugar.
- The Science Fair is quickly approaching! I have not received everyone's proposals with their data collection. Be sure you're working on your science project and making a display board. If you need a board, please let me know...I can help with that. Please remember these guidelines when creating your board. All science projects must be brought to school by January 26th to present in class. The Science Fair is on January 27th (my birthday). I'll be there celebrating with bells on! hahaha
- The International Fair is in need of booths for more countries. If anyone is interested in hosting a booth at International Fair, please Jill Verico at: volunteer@wellsbranchpta.org
