I hope everyone is well-rested and ready for CRUNCH TIME! We have about one month before both the Math and Reading TAKS. This means is it more important than ever that your child be at school, on time everyday. While at school, focusing and completing work is very important. Completing homework is also very important in order to reinforce concepts learned at school.
Reminders:
- Spring Festival is April 2nd. We are in need of volunteers to work our booth. We also need donations of cooking/baking items for our raffle basket. If you can help out with either of these, please let me know!
- Our final grading period has begun...be sure to turn in all work on time and correct any returned work below a 70 to keep grades up.
- We are in need of snack again. I've found out the kids really love crackers (graham crackers and saltines). Both are super easy to serve and don't make too much mess...and I think they're both fairly cheap at the store.
- Explorer Excellence Awards will be on Tuesday, March 29th at 8:40.
- Report Cards for the 3rd Nine Weeks go home on Tuesday, March 29th.
What we're learning...

Tuesday - (both math and reading) enVisions 18-2 Practice, p.26/27
