It's almost Spring Break!

On Friday, we got to watch a virtual field trip with Dave Salmoni from Animal Planet. We learned a lot about animal adaptations, herbivores, omnivores, and carnivores. I think the kids really enjoyed it.

Upcoming Events/Reminders:
- The last day of the 3rd 9 weeks is on Friday. Be sure you remind your child to turn in all missing work or corrected work by then. No late work will be accepted, as grades must be submitted for report cards. You can check the Home Access Center (link on left) for current grade information.
- Wednesday is an Early Release
- We are out of snack. Any donations will be appreciated. The class sure does enjoy days that snack is provided. Many of your children are partaking in snack on a daily basis thanks to generous donations from the class.
- Next week is Spring Break. Please keep reading and practicing multiplication every day during the break. When we return, we will be having "The Workshop", which is short for "Writers' Workshop." During this week, we will prep for the Writing STAAR which will take place on March 27th and 28th.
- Spring Festival is coming up. PTA is currently looking for volunteers and donations. Information was sent home in last week's Thursday folder. Classes with the most donations and most volunteers will receive a reward.
