Reminders:

• Many of you may have noticed that your children are logging onto a site called Edmodo.com. This is a new Round Rock ISD approved site we will be using for classroom communication with students, learning games/activities, and our classroom management system called Sokikom. Your children already have their login for this site. Each parent is welcome to logon as well. In order to do so, you will need to have your child log on and on the left side of the screen it says, "Parent Code". You will need to record this code and then logout of your child's account. Then you will sign up as a parent with that code so that it attaches to your child's account. 
• All communication/activity on Edmodo can be monitored by me and if you sign up, you. 
• Round Rock ISD has deemed Edmodo completely safe and secure for student use at all levels. Many middle school children already use it for communication with their teachers and classmates.
• I have and will continue to speak to your children and teach them how to use the internet appropriately and meaningful purposes.
• Report Cards go home Tuesday. Two copies will be sent home. The envelope and a signed copy need to be returned by Thursday.
• We will be going to the science lab on Monday (blue class) from 1:40-2:20 and Tuesday (orange class) from 8-8:40. If you would like to come help, please let me know.
• Next week (Nov. 15th) is the Thanksgiving lunch. Our lunch time will be adjusted that day to accommodate extra visitors at lunch. I will let you know the confirmed time next week. You are more than welcome to come enjoy the turkey and dressing lunch with your child/grandchild that day.
• One last reminder...Sunday is Fall Back. At 2:00am, set your clocks back one hour. Every year I have kids show up early on Monday morning. :)
